Willow
I first saw this horse when she was about eight weeks old and she stopped me dead in my tracks. As I watched her, I was very impressed with how refined and well built she was, and then I saw her run. That was it for me. I knew I had to have her. Her sire is a perlino, ensuring she will give us some interesting color. In 2006 Willow had a dun overo colt, marked like his sire Sakima. We named him OKEMOS. Okemos had a full brother born in '07, a gorgeous palomino with GREEN eyes! I've never seen a horse with eyes that color. Willow's third foal was yet another colt born on May 6th of 2008. We named him Warren. He is an interesting color, sort of a slate greyish brown. We have kept him for our breeding program as he carries the dilute gene for buckskins that I love and also because of his high proud stance, great conformation and gorgeous way he moves. Warren also has a very gentle disposition. After three colts in a row we are anxious to get a little filly from Willow. She was bred back to Sakima for a foal due mid February of 2012. Willow has been trained to drive.
